Project Abstract

American professionals are facing their highest levels of burnout. This project aims to offer a solution that remedies and mitigates burnout through detachment, achieved by leveraging the power of games and augmented reality to create immersion and engagement, while also providing a social vector.

The project scope includes creating a readable user interface, following established user experience patterns and formats, clear directions for play, and leveraging familiar game mechanics. This project utilizes Ai for art generation to manage scope and improve iteration time.

The game mechanics were tested via small focus groups to improve the fun factor. Part of this project is about crafting a unique language to create an engaging style while also creating functional anchors for 3-dimensional objects. This project concludes with a working prototype of the card game and a plan to evolve the game into something that can go to market.
